A bridge is a dental restoration used to replace one ore more missing teeth by joining permanently to adjacent teeth or dental implants. The size of the bridge you require depends on how many missing teeth you have and statics:
one missing tooth requires a three unit bridge (2 crowns + a bridge element)
two missing teeth require a bridge of four or five units depending on static (2 or 3 crowns + the bridge elements)
three missing teeth need a five or more unit bridge again depending on static (minimum 2 crowns + the bridge elements to replace the missing teeth)
